Plant Adaptations 🌱

What is a Plant Adaptation? 🤔

A **plant adaptation** is a special feature that helps a plant live and grow in its environment. Plants have different adaptations to help them get what they need to survive, like water, sunlight, and a safe place to live.

For example, a **cactus** has spines instead of leaves to save water in a hot, dry desert. A **water lily** has big, flat leaves that float on the water to get lots of sunlight. These are special ways plants have changed to fit their home!
