Earth's Layers 🌎

Interactive Lesson • Practice • Sorting Game

What's Inside Earth? 🤔

Just like an onion, our planet Earth is made up of different **layers**. There are four main layers: the **crust**, the **mantle**, the **outer core**, and the **inner core**.

We live on the very top layer called the **crust**. It's the thinnest layer. Below the crust is the **mantle**, which is the thickest layer and is made of hot, flowing rock. Deeper still is the **outer core**, a liquid layer of very hot metal, and finally, the **inner core**, a solid ball of hot metal at the center of the Earth.
