What is Volume? 🌊
**Volume** is the amount of three-dimensional space an object occupies. We measure volume in cubic units (e.g., cubic inches, cubic centimeters).
The formulas for three common shapes are:
- **Cylinder:** $$V = \pi r^2 h$$
- **Cone:** $$V = \frac{1}{3} \pi r^2 h$$
- **Sphere:** $$V = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3$$
Where **V** is volume, **r** is the radius, and **h** is the height. Notice the relationship: the volume of a cone is exactly one-third the volume of a cylinder with the same radius and height!
